I. Selection of Wireless Microphones

The microphone head can be a dynamic or electret type. If conditions permit, you can also choose a PLL type wireless microphone.

In performance bars, theaters, etc., due to the large movement and complex reception conditions, higher requirements are needed. It is recommended to use PLL type, diversity reception wireless microphones. At the same time, the microphone head can be a condenser or dynamic type ordinary microphone. For special requirements, you can also choose instrument microphones, chorus microphones, etc.

In large theaters, broadcasting studios, and other professional venues with high requirements, it is recommended to use well-known brands with PLL reception technology and diversity wireless systems. In these venues, there are many microphones, complex reception environments, and a large range. Antenna amplifiers, distributors, and antennas should also be configured to improve the usage effect.

II. Usage of KTV Wireless Microphones

The correct use of wireless microphones is a very important aspect of maximizing their performance. Sometimes, improper usage can, at best, prevent expensive microphones from performing as they should, and at worst, cause damage.

① Do not hold two wireless microphones together.

Since handheld wireless microphones are two transmitters, they will generate harmonic pools. When two wireless microphones are very close to each other, their harmonics will modulate each other, causing interference and seriously affecting transmission, reception, and sound quality.

② Avoid pointing the microphone directly at the speaker.

If the microphone is pointed directly at the speaker, a closed loop is formed in the sound system, which will cause positive feedback oscillation (howling). This must be avoided.

③ Do not hold the microphone on the mesh head.

This is because all microphones have a certain directivity in their receiving part. If you hold the mesh cover, it will seriously damage the frequency response and may also cause focusing and feedback due to the gathering effect of the palm.

④ Do not hold the antenna transmitting part of the microphone tightly.
