1. Launch

First, launch Sound Forge 5 and open the previously recorded raw audio file. Select Antares Microphone Modeler under the DirectX menu, as shown in the figure. At first glance, the Antares Microphone Modeler interface is not too complicated; all options and buttons are clear. Next, we will start setting the specific microphone modeling parameters.

2. Settings

Source Mic is used to select the microphone actually used during recording. If it's just an ordinary non-brand microphone, select "bypass mic". Modeled Mic lists various microphone brands and models to be simulated. Antares Microphone Modeler provides hundreds of models from many well-known microphone brands worldwide, including familiar brands like AKG, Alesis, Neumann, Rode, Sennheiser, and Shure, meeting various microphone simulation requirements.
